Semi-transparent stains contain the lightest pigmentation designed to accentuate natural wood grain and character. The rustic nature of wood is blended with subtle color, creating a timeless look. These stains are specially formulated to provide long-lasting, vapor-permeable protection that beautifies and enriches exterior wood surfaces. Containing a special acrylic resin, these products are ideal for all types of natural wood siding, shingles, fences, roofs, and long homes. Superior ultra-violet protection is achieved through the use of nonfade, earth-tone, pigments, in addition to a superior 100% acrylic resin. Semi-transparent acrylic stains are formulated to weather slowly over time, without cracking, peeling, or blistering. These beautiful stains provide outstanding results on all natural wood species such as cedar, redwood, fir, pine, spruce and cypress, including pressure-treated wood, and plywood panel siding. These stains may also be applied to new, unprimed fiber cement siding. Dries in 1 hour to a natural semi-transparent flat finish. On smooth surfaces, approximately 200 Sq. Ft. to 300 Sq. Ft. per gallon or 100 Sq. Ft. to 200 Sq. Ft. on rough surfaces. Apply 1 coat evenly with a brush, roller, or spray (1300 to 1500 P.S.I. with .013 to .015 tip). Remove mildew, mold, and tannin bleed problems with Problem Solver wood cleaner and wood brightener. Use Problem-Solver wood stripper to safely remove all oil-based stains and paints.
